  Somatic Chair Yoga classes are now offered twice a month on the second an
 d third Wednesdays of the month. Under the guidance of Kaye Anderson or on
 e of her trained volunteer assistants\, participants are guided to listen 
 to their own bodies and stretch only as far as it feels good. The goal is 
 to release tension and let the mind reconnect with the body\, resulting in
  better ease of movement and no post-workout aches. Kaye herself started p
 racticing yoga at the age of 60 in order to help herself age more graceful
 ly. She fully understands the natural resistance to movement the body accu
 mulates with time\, and she believes that patience\, paired with persisten
 ce\, is the only way to counter that resistance. The resulting classes are
  joyful and kind\, and everyone at every level comes away feeling better. 
 Join us and rediscover the abilities you have locked up in your core. Part
 icipants are encouraged to bring a dish towel or non-stretchy scarf to cla
 ss as an exercise aid.
