Patty was joined today by her special guest, Matt Schenk, Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist and Clinic Manager of the Hanger Clinic in Highlands Ranch, CO. This was part-two of a two-part presentation by Hanger clinicians. Matt Schenk continued the discussion on Hanger’s breakthrough appliances for MS-related ambulatory issues, including new ankle-foot orthosis designs, and the WalkAide© system, a wearable battery-operated Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) device that provides a dramatic and immediate improvement in gait.
