Patty was joined today by her special guest, Cameron Athey, Orthotist and Clinic Manager of the Hanger Clinic in Parker, CO. His presentation covered the Clinic's breakthrough appliances for MS-related ambulatory issues, including new ankle-foot orthosis designs, and the WalkAide© system, a wearable battery-operated Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) device that provides a dramatic and immediate improvement in gait. This was the first of a two-part presentation by Orthotists from Hanger Clinic. The second will be on June 8th.
