Today Patty showed us how to put our Neuroplasticity plan into action, giving us the ability to change our brain chemistry and structure through exercise. The session followed the many handouts provided below, including the use of (A)nchor moments? (B)ehavior changes/ (C)elebrations to establish a self-reinforcing neurological loop that can quickly become nearly effortless. She talked about the effects of music and humor to get different parts of the brain working, and about how to reduce stress by maintaining lists and diaries. This is such a powerful weapon in our fight against the effects of MS that it deserved not one, not two, but four handouts. Print them out and have them handy as you watch this session!
